Sony entering the retro console game, announces PlayStation Classic

The retro console game has been a huge market for Nintendo the past few years and it makes sense that Sony jump on board with their own mini relaunch of their original PlayStation.

The PlayStation Classic will arrive this December for €99. It’s 45-percent smaller than the original, but has an identical layout and includes 2 original style PlayStation controllers. The console also has virtual memory for game saves and launch with 20 games.

The full list of games have yet to announced, but so far we have
Tekken 3, Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4 and Wild Arms.

The console is now avaialble for pre-order from a few places, but will most likely show up in more locations very soon.
