Amazon today have announced three new Kindle Fire tablets. The new tablets come just as expected and the specs are very impressive and all come at a very attracting price which alone is what people are looking for in new tablets now. So let’s take a look at the new tablets and specs of each.
Amazon Kindle Fire
The new Kindle Fire which is a refresh from the hugely successful Kindle Fire, which was the first $199 tablet that made it in the big leagues. Well the new Kindle fire comes with a few updates like double ram from 512MB to 1GB and Amazon is also saying it is 40% faster than the original tablet. The price is also set at a only $159, this is going to be hugely attracted to those that want a cheap tablet that packs a decent push. The new Kindle Fire will be available on September 14th and pre-orders go live now.
Amazon Kindle Fire Hd 7-inch and 8.9-inch
Amazon didn’t just stop at refreshing the previous Kindle Fire. They also announced two new version HD Version of the Kindle Fire. The Kindle Fire HD 7 and 8.9 will include some serious specs which are below.
- 8.9-inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution/7-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution
- TI OMAP 4470 Processor
- Dual Stereo Speakers
- Front facing HD camera
- HDMI Out
- MIMO Wireless
Amazon have said the 7-inch version will come with an expected 11 hour battery life, but no info on the 8.9-inch version. They have also put a lot of effort into the screens to keep glare down by adding a polarizing filter and have included a laminated touch-screen for better sharpness and contrast. Both tablets come with 16GB of storage. The prices are set at $199 for the 7-inch and $299 for the 8.9-inch. There is also another 8.9-inch version with LTE that has a price of $499 but comes with an added bonus of a yearly AT&T data plan at $50, which normally costs $14.99 a month. This version also comes with 32GB of storage space.
All three tablets are available for pre-order from today, with the 8.9 HD versions coming November 20th and the refreshed Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD 7-inch versions coming September 14th.
