HTC told us shortly after the announcement of Android 4.4 that the HTC One would get it within 90 days and they have now shared more information with us regarding the software update. We now know that both North America and the UK (possibly Ireland as well) will be getting the update in January. Keeping it just inside the margin for their initial 90 day announcement. HTC are really pushing to keep the HTC One at the top of its game and brining the latest software is easily a way to keep users happy.
There hasn’t been any info regarding other countries and when they may see the roll out begin, but once it starts somewhere it will begin to hit everyone shortly. Obviously some carriers may take longer than others to get the update pushed out.
