HTC unveil U12 Life Smartphone

HTC are back again, and this time around their brining some life to the mid-range phone market with the new U12 Life smartphone. The new device is all about bringing solid specs, with a decent style to the mid-tier market.

The device features a large 6-inch display with 1,080 x 2,160 resolution and that popular 18:9 ratio display. The design is a dual finish featuring soft, subtle stripes on an acrylic glass unibody that gives a metal-like design. 

inside the device we have Qualcomms Snapdragon 636 chipset with Octa-Core processor and 4/6GB’s of memory (depends on region). The device will avaialble with either 64 or 128GB of storage and include a MicroSD slot.

Camera side of things we get a dual sensor setup with 16MP and 5MP resolution. We have phase-detection, dual LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture.  The camera also supports HDR and 4K video recording. The second additonal camera allows for the blur background effect on photos too.

Other specs for the new device include a large 3,600mAh battery, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The HTC U12 Life ships late September/early October and will be avaialble in Moonlight Blue and Twilight Purple. Pricing is set at €349/£299.
