iPhone 4S benchmarks are in, Shows massive improvments

So a few lucky people across the world are recieving there iPhone 4S orders earlier then the friday launch. This is great news for us aswell, Because the guys of an Anandtech have gotten there hands on one and have benchmarked the new iPhone.

The results are pretty fantastic. The iPhone 4S is apparantly clocked at 800Mhz aswell so it can conserve some battery, This means the only device that currently beats it is the iPad 2, Which has the same processor just clocked a little higher. The results show the iPhone 4S is the fastest device on the market, Prooving  that the big number next to the speed isn’t the important part and it’s how well it performs those clocks. The 800Mhz device can even beat Samsung’s pride and joy the galaxy S2 which is clocked at 1.2Ghz.

The results below speak from themselves.

While the Galaxy Tab 8.9 is not far behind at all, The Samsung Galaxy S2 is some distant from the iPhone 4S. Let’s just hope the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has some improvements that can push the SGS2 closer to the iPhone 4S.
