Microsoft have announced that Windows 8 has reached the ‘release to manufacturing’ stage and the final code has officially been handed over to manufacturers to do their magic and get hardware sales out for release. The release date for Windows 8 is October 26th, There is no doubt that Windows 8 is going to be a big launch. Windows 8 marks the biggest changes Microsoft has ever made to their OS and of course the introduction of the Metro UI for touch-based systems as well will have a huge impact alone. It’s not long until Windows 8 is officially released now.
