Minecraft getting crossplatform in August, 4K graphics upgrade this Fall

Nearly all versions of Minecraft will be getting the Better Together update this August, and with this update players on Android, iOS, Xbox, Windows, Nintendo Switch will all be able to enjoy the game together and create new worlds with their friends regardless of which platform they use. We say nearly all, as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 will not be getting the new up date just yet, but hopefully will get it soon.

Minecraft is also going to include 4K support with the new Super Duper Graphics Pack that will launch on Xbox One X and Windows 10. This includes new textures, HDR support, and new lighting effects. Check out the 4K trailer showcasing the new look for Minecraft.
