Nvidia intros ‘Big Format Gaming Displays’ with 65-inch G-Sync capable panels

Nvidia will be partnering up with Asus, Acer, and HP for a new line of giant 65-inch monitors, and yes, we mean monitors. The new Big Format Gaming Displays, or BFGD’s will offer a lot of Nvidia tech, including G-sync and Shield capabilities.

The 65-inch panel does indeed feature 120Hz refresh rate, along with G-sync for zero screen tearing. We also get 1,000-nits brightness with the full-array back-lighting and HDR/DCI P3 color support, definitely an impressive spec sheet.

The only announced display so far is the Asus ROG Swift PG65, which is picture above. This includes all of the features we have mentioned above, but sadly we haven’t gotten a price point just yet, but the displays are set to arrive around Summer time. It will be interesting to see how the world takes to the idea of a 65-inch monitor.
