The new company on the block OnePlus have just announced their first smartphone dubbed the OnePlus One, which is set to offer some outstanding specs, for and even more outstanding price. The new smartphone includes a 5.5-inch 1080p JDI IPS LCD display, Qualcomms Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. OnePlus have also included 3GB of RAM. Camera wise we have a 13MP Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor with dual LED flash and 4K video support. The front facing camera is a 5MP wide angle lens with 80 degree field of view. Other specs include NFC, WiFi B/G/N/AC, Bluetooth 4.1, MicroUSB, and finally a 3,100mAh non-battery.

The OnePlus One will be running CyanogenMod 11S which is simply a special version of the already available Cyanogenmod 11 with enhancements to take advantage of everything the OnePlus One has to offer. The OnePlus One is one of the first official smartphone to have the Cyanogenmod Rom as stock.

The most interesting aspect of the smartphone is of course the price tag with the device coming in Silk White with 16GB of storage for $299/€269 and the Sandstone Black with 64GB of storage available for $349/€299. Availability is set for mid-may with the phone launching in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the United States.
