Samsung announce the Galaxy S III mini


Samsung today have announced the Galaxy S III mini. The latest device from Samsung will bring the sleek and simplistic design of the hugely popular Galaxy S III to a smaller design. The specs of the mini version will include a 4-inch super AMOLED with a WVGA resolution(800 x 480) and will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Mini will be powered by a dual core 1GHz processor and a somewhat medium-sized battery at 1500mAh. The device weight comes in at 111.5g with the measurements 121.55 x 63 x 9.85.

The rest of the specs include WiFi N, GPS (GLONASS), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, FM Radio and the usual gyroscope, proximity senors and more. The cameras included are a 5MP with LED flash on the rear and a VGA on the front. The Galaxy S III Mini will come in 8 and 16GB versions but do include a Micro SD slot for expanding. availability and pricing are yet to be confirmed, but we do see this device coming with a small price tag and should be available soon.
