SuperTalent releasing 1GBps PCIe SSD

SuperTalent have announced plans to release a new PCIe SSD which will be capable of speeds up to 1GBps. Now while they already have PCIe SSDs capable of 2.4GBPS, that type of device cost around $5000 and basically setting it fair beyond basic consumers and most enthusiast purchase lists. The newest device called the RAIDDrive upStream and will apparently cost less compared to there prevouis products. Even though this device has a lower speed compared to there other products, it is still much faster compared to traditial SSDs which generally have transfer speeds of anywhere 200MBps to 700MBps. The device is expected to ship sometime in April. Check out the source link for more information.
