The new Google doodle is a playable Moog Synth


Today Google are celebrating Robert Moog’s birthday. Robert Moog is famous for inventing the Moog synthesizer. Born May 23 1935, Robert was the founder of Moog Music, he was an American Pioneer of Electronic music which no doubt you listen to everyday. Robert Moog passed away on August 21st 2005 at aged 71.

Google are doing something fantastic today in honour of Roberts Moog’s birthday and that is that their doodle is an actual playable Moog Synth, so jump over to google.com and check it out, you can even record anything you play. It’s also playable by the keys on your keyboard.
