Xbox 360 backward compatability coming to Xbox One this year

Xbox 360 on xbox one

Microsoft’s E3 press conference is still taking place, but they have already come out swinging. Phil Spencer has announced that Xbox 360 backward compatibility is coming to Xbox One users. Over 100 games will be playable by the end of the year with Xbox One preview users already getting a look at the new feature this month.

The list of compatible games has yet to be detailed, other than Mass effect itself, and perhaps the few visible on the image above. Although that can’t be confirmed as of yet. Features like taking screenshots, game DVR, broadcasting will all work with Xbox 360 games on Xbox One.
