AMD Radeon HD 7990 finally materializes

AMD 7990
AMD have finally uncovered their 7990, but that’s it! yeah, they announced it and included the nice picture but have yet to include any of the hard details. We do know that it’s made up of two 7970 Tahiti cores. Another interesting tidbit is that DICE have confirmed they used the same 7990 in their 17 minute demo of Battlefield 4 which was released a few days ago.

While they haven’t dropped any specifics, we can see it was a DVI(DL?) and 4 mini Display Ports. Power uses 2 x 8 pin connections. It shouldn’t be too long before we see some benchmarks and more gameplay footage of the new 7990 from AMD.
