Netherlands first EU country to pass net neutrality laws

Net neutrality is a big concern or it should be a big concern for all internet users and the Netherlands have just passed it into law, making it the first European country to do so. This will hopefully begin to spark the movement in other countries soon.

Net neutrality will prevent ISP’s from blocking or limited access to any type of traffic and of course prevents the overcharge for certain services and specific sites. The law in the Netherlands does give leeway to an ISP to better manage their traffic if congested, but they are to keep all traffic equal otherwise. This is great day for those in the Netherlands and hopefully soon more countries will follow suit.
